Children's Nutcracker Audition!
Join us for our Children's Audition for Brooklyn Ballet's production of The Brooklyn Nutcracker.
Brooklyn Ballet is currently seeking youth dancers for our annual production of The Brooklyn Nutcracker. Selected dancers must attend weekly rehearsals at Brooklyn Ballet from October - December. The audition will be live & in person at Brooklyn Ballet. Click below to register!
Friday, September 24, 4-6 pm: Age 12-17

Sunday, September 26, 11 am -1 pm: Age 7-11
REGISTER HERE
11 am - 12 pm: Age 6-7 (Students must be 7 by 12/31 to audition)
12-1 pm: Age 8-11
Where: Brooklyn Ballet, 160 Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn, NY
- The audition will include a ballet class and repertoire. Ballet experience is recommended, but not required
- Dancers should wear leotard, tights, and ballet slippers or form fitting attire they can dance in
- Dancers with long hair should have their hair in a secure bun or similar hairstyle
- Dancers should arrive dressed and ready to dance with their own water bottle
- Dancers en pointe should bring their pointe shoes
- Covid-19 Guidelines In-Person Audition: All dancers (ages 12+) must show proof of vaccination and remain masked and socially distanced at all times
- Covid-19 Guidelines for Rehearsals & Performances: All dancers (ages 12+) must be fully vaccinated to rehearse and perform
