In honor of national poetry month, we thought it would be a nice time to remember our participation in the Schamrock Poetry Festival of 2018. The festival, based in Munich, Germany, launched a collaborative work between Brooklyn Ballet founding artistic director Lynn Parkerson with Augusta Laar (poet / electro-accoustic / mixed media) and Kalle Laar (sound artist).
The piece then took on a new iteration in New York at The Mark O'Donnell Theater in June of last year, with trombonist Abbie Conant and Brooklyn Ballet dancers Michael "Big Mike" Fields and Christine Emi Sawyer.
