Conservatory Summer Intensives
BROOKLYN BALLET'S 2013 NEXT STEP SUMMER INTENSIVE

Daily Program
Includes Ballet Technique, Pointe, Choreography/ Repertory, Dance Seminar (history, appreciation, costuming, staging), Yoga/Stretch/ Pilates - Body Conditioning and more!

AUDITION
Auditions will be held April 27, 2013 from 4-6pm at Brooklyn Ballet, 160 Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn, NY. Call 718-246-0146 to reserve your spot.
$20 Audition Fee / $10 for current Brooklyn Ballet students
We will accept DVD auditions from students outside NYC
About the Next Step Program
Brooklyn Ballet’s Next Step program (Ages 8–18) is designed to give each participant a solid technical foundation, based in classical training, upon which to build his or her own creative power. We aim to prepare dancers for professional and high school performing arts auditions while cultivating increased technical ability. Students are also offered a performance opportunity where they will collaborate with Brooklyn Ballet’s Artistic Director Lynn Parkerson, Julia K. Gleich, and other professional choreographers. A culminating performance will be held at The Actors Fund Arts Center, in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. Our goal is to cultivate strong, well-trained, educated and independent dancers.
