Brooklyn Ballet at Fotografiska

Choreographers of the 19th century were inspired by the natural world to create some of the most treasured Ballets in the classical canon. Brooklyn Ballet embraces and transforms these works; deconstructing the Waltz of the Flowers and Snowflake Waltz, and recasting the Tarantella and Afternoon of a Faun with street dancers.
The Sylph, the Spider, the Faun, the Flower, the Snowflake, all become subjects of our exploration. In the Galleries, in juxtaposition to the Art on display, dancers will perform vignettes in various constellations throughout. A continuous work inspired by the exhibition will be adapted for a performance in The Loft space.
In support of the exhibition Human/Nature.
Museum admission is included with ticket purchase.
