The first Afro Brazilian ballerina to reach the rank of principal dancer with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, we welcomed Bethania Gomes into the Brooklyn Ballet family last month, teaching morning company class and joining our faculty for our upcoming summer classes.
Together, these board members bring diverse expertise and a shared commitment to the arts while further reinforcing our commitment to artistic excellence, community outreach, and inclusivity. We look forward to working towards achieving our strategic goals and future expansion with our growing board this season and beyond!
