Brooklyn Ballet’s incredible results and progress would simply not be possible without the enthusiastic and generous support of people and businesses in our community. Over 1,000 children annually are introduced to classical ballet through our “Elevate” in-school dance program and this year four “Elevate” graduates received full scholarships to study at Joffrey’s Summer Intensive. It is now time for us to give Brooklyn’s children a ‘dance home’ in their own community where they can get a full conservatory level training without which a professional career in dance is not possible.
Without a home for Brooklyn Ballet, this talent will go elsewhere or, worse still, will fade away.
“It makes me feel like I can do anything when I’m up there.” – John Michael, student of Brooklyn Ballet School
“The thing I really love about dancing with Brooklyn Ballet is that it’s really calming—it calms me down when I get angry.” – Brianna, student of Brooklyn Ballet School
You can make a difference to Brooklyn kids and audiences. Help us seize an exciting new opportunity and create a home for ballet in our community.
