PART TIME ADMINISTRATOR
Brooklyn Ballet, a professional not-for-profit dance company, seeks a part time experienced administrator ready for the challenge of bringing this growing dance company to the next level. This is an amazing opportunity to gain a multitude of experience working with an an expanding non-profit arts organizition.
The position provides support to the Artistic Director, School Director, Board, and other key figures and consultants. The candidate should have experience in multiple functions of a non-profit organization including project management, development, marketing, and public relations. The position requires a proficiency with Office applications, database management and website updates. Financial management and budgeting skills also required.
The candidate will exhibit superior oral and written communication skills, be highly detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently and as a team member. He/She will possess the ability to enhance existing organizational infrastructure and juggle a number of ongoing projects and deadlines.
Bachelors degree and experience in dance, arts, or non-profit organizations prefered.
Experience with city and educational contracts a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience. This administrative role could lead to a full-time salaried position.

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE
Brooklyn Ballet has an immediate opening for an administrative intern. The position will provide a vast array of experience working for an expanding not-for-profit organization. Strong computer skills, including database experience, are required. The intern will work closely with the artistic director and administrative staff and must be available 10-15 hours per week. Bilingual a plus.
